Collar drill bushing DIN 172 form A, bore 20 mm, length 45 mm, collar 34 mm, hardened steel

Made for holes of 20 mm, this bushing guides the tool over 45 mm. The long series combines a press fit of 30 mm outside diameter with a 34 mm collar that holds the bushing in the plate.

Applications

It is typically fitted into the drill plates of jigs in mechanical engineering, contract manufacturing and mould making, where the same 20 mm hole is produced again and again in the same place.

Standard and material

The basis is DIN 172, form A, with a guiding bore of 20 mm. In form A the bore is rounded only on the side of the collar. The material is case-hardening steel, hardened to 740 ± 80 HV 10 and ground afterwards.
