Where a liquid pump has to run for long periods, the drive decides the service interval. This range uses a brushless DC motor and is rated for 5,000 hours of service life.

• Brushless DC motor with no brush wear, quoted service life is 5,000 hours.
• Rated for continuous duty at 400 ml/min across a working pressure range of 0 to 1000 mbar.
• Self-priming at 400 mbar, so the suction line does not need filling before start-up.
• Outlet pressure up to 3 bar for lines with a lift or a narrow cross section.
• Current draw of 450 mA, so an existing DC supply is enough and no separate power unit is needed.
• A weight of 230 g and straight 5.4 mm O.D. nipples allow installation in compact equipment.

Operating principle

A brushless DC motor drives the diaphragm through an eccentric, while inlet and outlet valves set the flow direction. With no carbon brushes running, brush debris is removed as a wear source.
