An analogue command line carries a single number, while IO-Link carries command, parameters and diagnostics over the same cable. This 4WRLE16W6-200LJ uses the digital interface and needs only a 5-pole M12 connector with A coding. Hydraulically it remains a closed loop size 16 valve with internal position feedback, 200 l/min nominal and an 800 l/min limit.

Applications

IO-Link pays off in plants that manage parameters centrally and monitor valves during operation. On replacement the master restores the stored parameters, so no readjustment at the valve is needed. It requires an IO-Link master in the field, a purely analogue control system cannot drive this valve.
