Applications

The valve is used on controlled axes of machine tools and test equipment with mineral oil hydraulics. Symbol C blocks the ports in the centre position, so the axis stays put when the signal is missing. If the plant moves to fire-resistant fluids, the seal variant has to be reviewed.
