Once a cylinder in rapid traverse demands more oil than a normal directional valve will pass, the flow figure becomes the selection criterion. This size 25 valve passes up to 1250 l/min, meters at 400 l/min nominal flow and holds spool position through internal position feedback.

Applications

The valve is built for large presses, forging lines and water engineering hydraulics with very large cylinder areas. The external pilot circuit is fed from an auxiliary pump or an accumulator. At 19.36 kg the valve can still be mounted by hand despite its flow class.
