Applications

Size 32 is used in presses, forging hammers, rolling mills and test rigs with large cylinder areas whose motion is under closed-loop control. Internal spool position feedback holds the opening even through load changes, and the linear characteristic curve keeps the behaviour predictable for the superimposed controller. A Y line has to be provided for the external pilot oil return, while pilot oil is taken internally from the main circuit. At 37.2 kg a lifting aid is advisable when fitting or removing the valve.
