A separate pilot circuit keeps the pilot stage independent of the pressure in the main circuit. This size 10 4WRLE in the MXY build takes pilot oil in externally and drains it externally, controlling 100 l/min nominal flow at up to 350 bar while doing so.

Applications

Intended for axes that swallow a lot of flow in rapid traverse and still have to stay under control, for instance on presses, injection moulding machines and test rigs. The external pilot port calls for a supply of its own, the pilot drain is routed to tank separately. Internal spool position feedback keeps the spool opening at the command value.
