When several consumers discharge into a shared return manifold, back pressure builds up there. This version therefore routes pilot oil through its own Y line straight to tank while taking it internally from the P channel, so no external pilot pump is required. The valve meters 200 l/min nominal and controls the main spool through internal position feedback.

This combination is the usual choice in multi-axis systems where several valves discharge into one return line. The Y line should run directly to tank without a check valve and without a filter. If system pressure falls below the minimum pilot pressure, the main spool returns to its rest position.
