Where a superimposed position or pressure controller already provides the accuracy, an open loop proportional valve is enough. The 4WRZE16E1-180 works without electrical main spool feedback, meters 180 l/min nominal and allows up to 460 l/min at size 16. An integrated pressure reducing valve holds pilot pressure constant even when system pressure varies across the cycle.
