The pilot stage is the most sensitive part of such a valve, because its nozzles react to dirt and to pressure swings. This version therefore takes pilot oil externally from a filtered circuit, reduces it inside the valve and moves 325 l/min with spool symbol E.

Applications

Plants with their own pilot oil conditioning are found in rolling mills, hydro power stations and large test rigs where filtration grade and oil temperature are monitored. The valve fits in there without an extra reducing stage in the manifold. The drain runs internally into the tank channel.
