A valve that stays in one position under pressure for a long time has to move again on demand and must not pass oil while it is closed. The direct operated M-4SEW6Y3X directional poppet valve in size 6 solves both through a seat seal and withstands operating pressures up to 420 bar.

Application

The valve serves holding and clamping circuits, tool clamps and pilot circuits where pressure stands for long periods yet switching must remain possible at any moment. The seat design keeps the blocked port tight, so a cylinder does not creep down while at rest. With 25 l/min in size 6 it also works as a pilot valve for larger pilot-operated valves in the same block.
