From size 25 upwards solenoid force is no longer enough for direct actuation, so this valve works pilot-operated. Pilot oil is supplied and returned externally, which decouples pilot pressure from working pressure and switches up to 700 l/min of main flow reliably.

Technical data

Application

It is used in presses, forging plant and power units with wide piston areas. Because the pilot circuit has its own supply, the valve still switches cleanly when the main circuit is running unpressurised. That is the normal case during rapid traverse and pressing stages.
