A large axis running proportionally needs flow plus a command signal that survives a long cable run. This size 25 valve of the 4WRZE range delivers 325 l/min nominal flow at operating pressures up to 350 bar and accepts its command value as an impressed current of 4 to 20 mA, which a voltage drop along the cable cannot falsify.

Applications

Typical installations are presses, injection moulding machines and test benches where a large cylinder axis is accelerated and braked under control. Internal piloting assumes that the main circuit always carries enough pressure to draw control oil from. The concealed manual override lets the axis be moved when the electronics have failed.
