Controlling a large axis without building a dedicated pilot circuit is what this 4WRTE version is for: pilot oil is supplied internally and returned internally. The valve meters 400 l/min nominal flow at up to 350 bar and regulates spool position through internal feedback with on-board electronics.

Applications

The valve is installed in presses, forging lines and large test rigs that keep system pressure permanently available. Because the pilot stage feeds from the main circuit, piping work on the control manifold drops noticeably. For plants whose main circuit is unpressurised at times, the externally piloted version is the better choice.
