Large cylinders are often piloted from a dedicated pressure source because working pressure swings hard across the cycle. Applications

Accumulator driven presses, forging hammers and test rigs where system pressure drops close to zero within the cycle are the natural hosts. A separate pilot pressure supply keeps the main spool controllable through those phases. The 520 l/min rating matches cylinders with a large bore and high speed.
