From size 16 upwards the force of a solenoid alone no longer moves the spool against the flow forces. The pilot-operated 4WEH16D7X/6EG24N9EDL1/B10 directional spool valve solves this with a hydraulic pilot stage and reverses up to 300 l/min at a maximum of 280 bar.

Applications

Typical locations are presses, injection moulding machines and lifting gear with large cylinder volumes. Because pilot oil is taken internally, no separate pilot pressure line is required. External pilot oil return pays off wherever back pressure builds up in the tank line of the main circuit.
