The 4WEH32L6X switches oil direction for actuators moved at 1100 l/min. At 280 bar operating pressure the pilot stage supplies the shifting force that a directly actuated solenoid of this size could not produce.

Applications

Valves of this class sit on hydraulic presses, forging lines and injection moulding machines where a stroke has to finish within seconds. External pilot supply pays off when the main circuit runs unpressurised and the pilot stage still needs pressure. The centre position holds the actuator still between strokes.
