As soon as a cylinder is reversed at up to 300 l/min, a directly operated solenoid no longer provides the required force. The pilot-operated 4WEH16HD7X/6EG24N9SK4 directional spool valve in size 16 takes over that job and switches two positions to spool symbol D at a maximum operating pressure of 280 bar.

Application

The valve controls the direction of oil flow in presses, lifting gear and machine tools where large cylinders or hydraulic motors have to be moved. Subplate mounting to ISO 4401-07-07-0-05 allows it to sit on control manifolds and valve stacks without a special adapter. Because pilot oil is fed in and returned externally, the valve suits circuits with a separate pilot circuit or with high tank pressure.
