The solenoid of a size 16 valve could not move the main spool under load. On the 4WEH16J7X/6EG24NETK4/B08 it therefore only drives the small pilot stage, which shifts the spool hydraulically. Symbol J works with up to 300 l/min.

Technical data

Application

The design keeps the electrical power small although the main spool releases 300 l/min. If a solenoid fails, it is replaced on its own as part of the pilot stage. The internally routed pilot oil saves two more ports on the manifold.
