Applications

The external version pays off wherever system pressure collapses under load, for example on presses with a rapid stroke followed by force build-up. Constant external pilot pressure keeps the stroke time of the main spool stable. It requires an adequately sized pilot supply at X and an unpressurised return line at Y.
