A dedicated pilot pump costs installation space and money. This valve takes its pilot oil internally from the pressure port and only needs a Y line for the return, at 325 l/min nominal flow and 350 bar operating pressure.

Application

This configuration is the usual choice for stand-alone power units without a central pilot supply, for example on baling presses, lifting gear and machine tools. It assumes an operating pressure that stays above the required pilot pressure during motion as well. The Y line has to run to tank without back pressure.
