The valve controls axes that run from creep speed up to rapid traverse, for example on presses, rolling stands and test rigs. External pilot oil supply keeps the valve working even when main circuit pressure drops below the pilot pressure required. Mounting is on a subplate to ISO 4401-07-07-0-05, and the NBR seals match HL hydraulic fluid.
