Application

The sandwich plate sits between the directional valve and the subplate and shuts off the actuator on the load side. This is common on lifting axes, clamping cylinders and tool clamps that must hold their position at standstill. The auxiliary actuation allows the axis to be moved while the machine is de-energised.
