Oil flow in presses, test rigs and machine tools can be metered steplessly instead of switched. The spool with symbol E sits on the ISO 4401-08-08-0-05 hole pattern of size 25 and releases 220 l/min nominal flow, up to 870 l/min at a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar. Pilot oil supply and pilot oil return are both internal, so no separate Y line is needed.

Applications

Typical installations are press axes, injection moulding machines, test rigs and rolling mill hydraulics, where direction and speed of an actuator are set by an analog signal. The valve is a spool type with 3 switching positions and 4 ports and fits standard subplates and manifolds of size 25 through the ISO 4401-08-08-0-05 connection diagram. Because pilot oil is taken and returned internally, X and Y lines are not needed at the mounting point. The FKM seal version is matched to hydraulic fluid HL.
