Inside a manifold block for heavy drives, the directional valve decides how quickly a cylinder starts and comes to rest again. The pilot-operated 4WEH16C7X with symbol C switches up to 300 l/min for that job and works at operating pressures up to 280 bar.

Application

Typical installations are manifold blocks in presses, machine tools and power units with large cylinders. Size 16 with 300 l/min covers drives for which size 10 valves are rated too small. Because pilot oil is supplied and returned externally, switching behaviour is retained even when the main circuit carries no pressure.
