About Oxyacetylene hoses

Welding hoses carry oxygen and fuel gas from the pressure regulator to the torch. The group holds ready-made twin hoses and single hose by the roll, each with a hose size of 13.3 x 6.3 mm and a rating of 20 bar.

What matters when choosing

• Gas and colour: blue is oxygen, red is acetylene. On the twin hose both lines are permanently joined and cannot be routed separately.
• Connections: thread 1 is G 1/4 female for oxygen, thread 2 is G 3/8 LH female for acetylene. The left-hand thread on the fuel gas side prevents the lines being swapped.
• Roll length: the ready-made twin hoses run from 4 m to 40 m, the single hose comes as a 50 m roll for cutting to length.
• Assembled or by the roll: made-up hoses arrive with hose tails at both ends, roll goods need tails and clamps from the accessories.
• Max. operating pressure 20 bar applies to the whole group and sits above the usual working pressures at the regulator.

The made-up twin hoses are built to DIN EN ISO 5172, the single acetylene hose to DIN EN ISO 3821:2010 with an abrasion-resistant EPDM/SBR cover. Countries of origin are Thailand and the Czech Republic.
