About Female hose fittings

Screw-on hose connectors take a hose straight onto a male threaded port without a further adapter in between. The series covers female threads from G 1/8 to G 2 and is rated for working pressures of 25 to 60 bar.

What matters when choosing

• The female thread, G 1/8 to G 2, has to match the male thread on the device, valve or manifold.
• The barb is selected by the inside diameter of the hose. Too small and the clamp will not hold, too large and the hose cannot be pushed on.
• Maximum working pressure runs from 25 to 60 bar depending on version. It matters because the hose and the clamp can be the weaker parts of the joint.
• Materials are brass CW614N, electroplated nickel-plated brass CW614N and stainless steel 1.4571, chosen by medium and environment.
• The hexagon size decides whether the connector can still be tightened once everything is installed.
