Quick Exhaust Valve G 1/8", Precision - Airtec SE 18

The Airtec SE 18 quick exhaust valve is screwed with port 2 directly onto the cylinder and releases the exhaust air to atmosphere over the shortest possible path. This increases cylinder speed, as the air does not have to flow back through the whole line to the control valve. The compact G 1/8" port suits small and medium cylinders.

Applications

Used to increase the extension or retraction speed of pneumatic cylinders in handling, clamping and feed applications. Only use with cylinders that provide sufficient end-position cushioning, such as adjustable end cushioning or shock absorbers. If a silencer is fitted to port 3, it must be dimensioned large enough to avoid back pressure.
