Valve terminal 1 Series, 8x 5/2-way single solenoid, M7 side-ported, multipole D-sub - E.MC

E.MC supplies this SV series terminal (1 Series) fully assembled with 8 single-solenoid 5/2-way valves. For 8 actuators it needs nothing more than a G 1/8 air supply and one multipole cable.

Advantages

• One connector for all coils: 25-pin D-sub that swivels through 90° for a vertical or horizontal cable exit.
• Narrow build: 11.5 mm pitch per valve station, response time 15 ms or less at 5 bar.
• Reconfigurable: any station can later take a valve with one or two coils, including 5/3-way or 2x 3/2-way functions.
• Long service life: at least 40 million cycles, aluminium body and spool, NBR seals.
• Swap valves without touching the tubing: the M7 outlets are in the sub-base, the valves are changed from above.

Applications

• Control cabinets or machine frames with a DIN rail, connected to the PLC through a pre-assembled D-sub cable
• Installations with frequent valve changes, where the tubing should stay connected during a swap
• Pick-and-place and handling units with small-bore cylinders, short-stroke cylinders and grippers on 4 to 6 mm tubing
