Multipole valve terminal, 25-pin D-sub, 10 x 5/2-way single solenoid, M7 side ports, 24 V DC - E.MC

This E.MC S1V series valve terminal combines 10 single-solenoid 5/2-way valves on a common base plate. Supply and exhaust run centrally through G 1/8, while the M7 working ports are located on the side of the base plate. The controller connects to the terminal through a single 25-pin D-sub connector instead of wiring each solenoid separately. Overall length is 158 mm.

Advantages

• One 25-pin D-sub connector for all 10 solenoids, swivelling by 90° for a vertical or horizontal cable exit.
• Only 0.8 W per solenoid at 24 V DC ±10 %, so 10 valves draw 8 W in total.
• Service life of at least 40 million cycles, valves with LED status indicator, each replaceable from above.
• M7 ports with a nominal cross-section of 7 mm² (Cv 0.39), around 330 l/min flow per station.
• Response time of 15 ms or less at 5 bar and up to 5 switching cycles per second per valve.

Applications

• Direct connection to the digital output cards of a PLC through a pre-assembled 25-pin cable.
• Medium-bore cylinders that move briskly with 330 l/min per station.
• Assembly cells with cylinders, grippers and rotary actuators served jointly by 10 valve positions.
• Installation under low covers, since the tubes leave sideways from the base plate rather than upwards.

Conversion and extension

The valves can be swapped for individually available valves with one or two solenoids or for blanking plates. Stations are counted from the electrical connection.
