Compact slide, double-acting, 25 mm bore, 100 mm stroke, adjustable fixed stop at extend end - E.MC

Where a workpiece has to travel in a guided path within tight space, this compact slide replaces a cylinder and separate guide with one unit. Bore 25 mm, stroke 100 mm, load up to 70 N. The fixed stop at the extend end lets you set the stroke anywhere from 90 to 100 mm.

Applications

• Cross axis for transfer units moving parts between two stations over a longer distance
• Feeding workpiece carriers or magazines with a guided motion
• Long stroke for tools or grippers where a cylinder with a separate guide would take up too much space
• Machines where the end position has to be matched to the workpiece during setup

E.MC recommends meter-out speed control with a flow control valve, keeping speed below 500 mm/s. When mounting several slides side by side, leave at least 3 mm between them so the cylinder switches do not interfere with each other.

Accessories and spare parts

A matching repair kit is available for the 25 mm bore. Further stroke limiters with fixed stop or shock absorber can be added as retrofit kits. E.MC also offers matching cylinder switches for end position sensing via the magnetic piston.
