Compact slide, double-acting, 20 mm bore, 100 mm stroke, standard version with rubber buffers - E.MC

Built for precisely guided strokes with a tool or gripper mounted on top: 20 mm bore, 100 mm stroke and a roller guide rated for up to 40 N. In the standard version TPU rubber buffers cushion both end positions, rated for 0.13 J of kinetic energy.

Applications

• Cross axis for transfer units moving parts between two stations over a longer distance
• Feeding workpiece carriers or magazines with a guided motion
• Long stroke for tools or grippers where a cylinder with a separate guide would take up too much space

E.MC recommends meter-out speed control with a flow control valve, keeping speed below 500 mm/s. When mounting several slides side by side, leave at least 3 mm between them so the cylinder switches do not interfere with each other.

Accessories and spare parts

A matching repair kit is available for the 20 mm bore. Fixed stops and shock absorbers can be retrofitted to one or both ends of travel. E.MC also offers matching cylinder switches for end position sensing via the magnetic piston.
