Compact slide, double-acting, 20 mm bore, 10 mm stroke, standard version with rubber buffers - E.MC

Where a workpiece has to travel in a guided path within tight space, this compact slide replaces a cylinder and separate guide with one unit. Bore 20 mm, stroke 10 mm, load up to 40 N. In the standard version TPU rubber buffers cushion both end positions, rated for 0.13 J of kinetic energy.

Applications

• Infeed movements in test and assembly fixtures that need only a few millimetres of travel
• Stoppers and pushers on transfer conveyors, with the workpiece contact mounted directly on the table
• Lift axis for small vacuum cups or grippers in pick-and-place units

E.MC recommends meter-out speed control with a flow control valve, keeping speed below 500 mm/s. When mounting several slides side by side, leave at least 3 mm between them so the cylinder switches do not interfere with each other.

Accessories and spare parts

A matching repair kit is available for the 20 mm bore. Fixed stops and shock absorbers can be retrofitted to one or both ends of travel. E.MC also offers matching cylinder switches for end position sensing via the magnetic piston.
