Compact slide, double-acting, 20 mm bore, 10 mm stroke, adjustable fixed stops at both ends - E.MC

This double-acting compact slide moves its table through 10 mm of stroke on a linear roller guide. With a 20 mm bore and G 1/8 port it handles loads up to 40 N. The fixed stop at both ends of travel lets you set the stroke anywhere from 0 to 10 mm.

Applications

• Infeed movements in test and assembly fixtures that need only a few millimetres of travel
• Stoppers and pushers on transfer conveyors, with the workpiece contact mounted directly on the table
• Lift axis for small vacuum cups or grippers in pick-and-place units
• Machines where the end position has to be matched to the workpiece during setup

E.MC recommends meter-out speed control with a flow control valve, keeping speed below 500 mm/s. When mounting several slides side by side, leave at least 3 mm between them so the cylinder switches do not interfere with each other.

Accessories and spare parts

A matching repair kit is available for the 20 mm bore. Further stroke limiters with fixed stop or shock absorber can be added as retrofit kits. E.MC also offers matching cylinder switches for end position sensing via the magnetic piston.
