2/2-way solenoid valve, pilot-operated, brass, G 1/2, normally open, NBR seal, 24 V AC - E.MC

On G 1/2 supply and feed lines carrying compressed air, water or oil, this valve opens a 15 mm orifice. A diaphragm does the heavy work while the coil only controls the pilot channel, which keeps consumption at 12 VA. With no current the passage is open and only the energised coil shuts it. If power fails, the medium keeps flowing.

Advantages

• Serviceable: diaphragm and coil can be replaced individually while the body stays in the line.
• Large orifice, small coil: 15 mm orifice at just 12 VA, thanks to diaphragm pilot operation.
• Flow: Cv 5.5 according to the E.MC datasheet, Kv 64 l/min.
• NBR seal: Standard seal for compressed air, water and oil up to 20 cSt.
• Brass body and IP65: class F coil insulation, watertight connector to DIN 40050.

Applications

• Shutting off G 1/2 compressed air feed lines upstream of machines or service units.
• Circuits that should stay open at rest or during a power failure, for example cooling or venting.
• General compressed air and water duty up to 80 °C media temperature.
• Note: in service the valve needs at least 0.5 bar differential and flow at the outlet. If the pressure equalises, it no longer switches reliably.

Accessories and spare parts

• Replacement coil type Z for 24 V AC, exchangeable without opening the line.
• Replacement diaphragms for G 3/8 and G 1/2 in NBR, FKM and EPDM, sold individually, also for changing the seal material.

The valve belongs to the E.MC ELP series and is supplied with coil and connector.
