Description

The YPC SFP4503 is an air operated 5/3-way valve with pressure centre. Without pilot pressure the springs centre the spool and both cylinder chambers stay pressurised. Flow through G 1/4 is 590 l/min, controlled through two G 1/8 ports.

Advantages

Spring-centred position with pressure on both working lines, operating pressure 2 to 10 bar.
Oil-free operation: no lubrication required, if lubricated use ISO VG32 oil.
Body and spool in aluminium, NBR seals, pilot section in glass fibre reinforced polyamide.
Effective area 19.0 mm² according to YPC, same body style as the SF series solenoid valves.
Purely pneumatic actuation with 2 to 8 bar pilot pressure, no electrical energy is needed at the valve.

Applications

Medium bore cylinders in fixtures and feeders with G 1/4 lines.
Actuators that are secured against displacement by pressure on both sides when no pilot signal is present.
Through-rod cylinders that are held braced in the centre.
