About Stand pipe fittings

Stand pipe fittings connect a stand pipe to the hose line of a take-off point. They are released at the flat sealing union nut, so the pipework itself never has to be turned. The range runs from G 1/2 to G 1 1/2 and is rated for operating pressures from 0 to 16 bar.

What matters when choosing

• Thread: G 1/2, G 3/4, G 1, G 1 1/4 and G 1 1/2 male, with some items carrying a female thread instead. The size follows the connection on the stand pipe.
• Union nut: the nut is always one step above the thread, 3/4 with G 1/2 and 1 1/4 with G 1. It has to suit the mating part on the hose side.
• Version: besides the standard form there is a CH version and a lightweight version. The connection stays the same, thread arrangement and weight differ.
• Max. operating pressure: 16 bar across the group, with the range starting at 0 bar.
• Operating temperature: -10 °C to 100 °C, which limits use on hot media.
