2/2-way solenoid valve, NC, SS, G 1, DN 20, PN 0-10, EPDM, force pilot oper. 24V DC, med.temp. -30 to 90, amb.temp. -30 to 55 The 6213 EV valve is a force pilot operated diaphragm valve. The spring coupling of the diaphragm supports the opening process of the valve. In the standard version, the valve is suitable for use with liquids. A minimum differential pressure is required for the valve to open fully. A separate version (HP00) is available for gas and vacuum applications, which opens the valve without differential pressure. Different diaphragm materials are available depending on the application. The range of body materials includes brass, stainless steel and gunmetal. Dezincification-resistant brass is available for other markets. Coils with integrated Kick and Drop electronics in dual-coil technology are available to reduce electrical power consumption during operation.

About Solenoid valves

Solenoid valves switch a media flow electrically, with no manual intervention at the line. The range covers nominal sizes from DN 1 to DN 66 and operating pressures up to 50 bar, with ports from G 1/8 to G 2. Some versions work from -1 bar upwards, which makes them suitable for vacuum duty.

What matters when choosing

• Function: normally closed (NC), normally open (NO) or any flow direction (BEL). What matters is the state the plant should assume when power is lost.
• Voltage: 12 V DC, 24 V DC, 24 V AC, 110 V AC and 230 V AC, plus 24 V AC/DC and 230 V AC/DC versions. Follow whatever the existing control system supplies.
• Sealing material NBR, FKM, FPM, EPDM, PTFE or FFKM: match the elastomer to the medium and to the media temperature, which runs between -30 and 160 °C depending on version.
• Body material: brass, aluminium, polyamide, glass-fibre reinforced polyamide, polypropylene or stainless steel 1.4301, 1.4401 and 1.4581. Stainless steel is the choice for corrosive media and demanding wash-down regimes.
• Nominal size DN 1 to 66 mm and operating pressure: upper limits run from 1 to 50 bar, and nominal size sets the achievable flow.

Threads are made to DIN EN ISO 228-1 or ISO 7-1. Protection class IP 65 or IP 67 is reached with the connector socket correctly fitted.
