5/2-way solenoid valve with ATEX approval, spring return, G 1/4", 1800 l/min, anodised aluminium

This 5/2-way solenoid valve switches double-acting pneumatic cylinders in plants where explosive gas or dust atmospheres may occur. The marking II 2G Ex ia IIC T6 Ga IP65 and II 2D Ex t IIIC T80°C Db IP65 covers gas atmospheres as well as dust atmospheres. If the 24 V DC control voltage fails, the spring returns the spool to its home position. A nominal width of 9 mm and five G 1/4" ports allow up to 1800 l/min at an operating pressure between 2.5 and 8 bar. The anodised aluminium body together with internal parts of stainless steel and brass suits temperatures from -10 to +70 °C.

Standards and conformity

The valve carries the ATEX marking II 2G Ex ia IIC T6 Ga IP65 and II 2D Ex t IIIC T80°C Db IP65 according to directive 2014/34/EU and reaches protection class IP 65. The control voltage may deviate by ± 10 % from the nominal 24 V DC.
