5/2-way solenoid valve ATEX, air spring return, G 1/2", 3300 l/min, anodised aluminium

The 5/2-way solenoid valve controls double acting cylinders in plant sections that run inside potentially explosive areas. A nominal width of 14 mm together with a flow rate of 3300 l/min supplies even large volume cylinders without a noticeable pressure drop. All ports use G 1/2" threads, three for supply and working lines plus two separate exhaust ports. An air spring performs the reset, so the spool returns to its initial position without a mechanical spring as soon as the control voltage is switched off. Operating pressure may range from 1 to 10 bar.

The valve carries the ATEX marking II 2G Ex mb IIC T5 IP65 and II 2D Ex mb tb IIIC T95°C IP65 according to directive 2014/34/EU. The complete unit reaches degree of protection IP 65.
