Tank heater

KTR

Screw-in heating elements, also known as immersion or immersion heaters, consist of U-shaped, highly compressed tubular heating elements that are soldered or welded into a threaded nipple on the connection side.

A galvanized steel cover serves as the connection housing.

Temperature control can be installed internally or externally. The electrical supply line must be installed via a cable gland on the mounting flange (version with temperature controller) or on the connection cover (version without temperature controller). For installation, the screw-in heater (tank heater) is inserted into a tank or the respective machine component and fastened using an attached sleeve or a locknut.
