Festo grippers are used for reliable picking, holding and placing of workpieces in automated assembly and handling tasks. The range covers more than 754 items, including pneumatic parallel grippers of the HGPM series in various sizes and stroke variants.
The grippers use compressed air as the energy source and transmit the piston force through a mechanism to the gripper jaws. Depending on the version, single-acting and double-acting variants are available, complemented by matching accessories for mounting and jaw adaptation.

Grippers are used in assembly machines, placement and pick-and-place applications, and in feeding technology. Compact parallel grippers such as the HGPM series are particularly suited to handling small components in confined installation spaces.
