About Hose connectors

Straight connectors join two hose ends in line, and as reducing versions they also bridge two different bores. The group covers hose I.D. 2 to 25 mm at a maximum working pressure of 10 bar. The barb is pushed into the hose and held with a clamp, so no thread is involved.

What matters when choosing

• Hose I.D. of 2 to 25 mm is the governing dimension and the axis of the configurators. It has to match the bore of the hose already installed.
• Same size or reducing: the reducing versions carry two figures, hose I.D. 1 and hose I.D. 2, and make the step between two hose bores in a single part.
• Material acetal copolymer (POM) or brass CW617N. POM is light, abrasion-resistant and impact-tough, while the brass parts are intended for PA and PUR hose.
• Max. working pressure of 10 bar applies to the whole group. Anything above that belongs on a screwed union rather than a barb and clamp.
• Min. and max. temperature: the POM versions are rated -40 to 80 °C. Cold outdoor locations and warm process air still fit, hot media do not.
