Suction/pressure hose, Heavy-duty design, Temp. -15°C to 60°C, Vacuum 0.9 bar, Hose Ø 103x90, PN at 20°C max. 4 bar, Roll of 20 m Transparent plastic hose with spiral steel wire embedded in the wall. Suitable for process water, sludge and liquid manure under extreme conditions. Extremely flexible and non-toxic. Acc. to 2007/19/EC. IMPORTANT: Hose sizes 50 x 40 mm and larger are shipped from our distribution centre in the Netherlands using a forwarding agent.

About Suction and discharge hoses

Suction and pressure hoses carry liquids where rigid pipework would be too inflexible, and they take positive pressure as well as vacuum. The range is rated for operating pressures up to 10 bar and is supplied on rolls. Inner diameter, temperature and media compatibility decide which hose is the right one.

What matters when choosing

• Max. operating pressure across the group is 10 bar. Pressure peaks in the system have to stay below that figure, the burst pressure quoted separately is not a working reserve.
• The inner hose diameter sets the flow rate and is the axis the configurators are built on. The outer diameter then decides which clamps and tails will fit.
• Vacuum: not every version is rated for suction duty. Wherever the hose is pulled on rather than pressurised, the vacuum figure of that article has to be met.
• Minimum and maximum temperature limit the application. Outdoor installation and warm media narrow the choice in different directions.
• Minimum bend radius and roll length govern the routing. Tight runs need a small bend radius, long runs save joints if the roll length is chosen to suit.
